Great event! Nice distances wirh a variety of terrain, from rolling dirt roads to rocky climbs and flowy forest single track. Routes were extremely well marked. Prizes and lucky draws were plentiful with bikes helmets and kit being given away daily. Great value for money

Thanks to the 3Mountains team for an awesome weekend! Our group of friends & family had a fun time in Clocolan, & we enjoyed catching up with old friends & making more … The routes were great, the scenery beautiful & the experience unique. I loved especially day 2 where the route took us up 3 tough challenging climbs (& down fun descents) through game reserrves, past caves, dams, sunflower fields, & along the Caledon river. My best part of day 2 was riding past springboks pronking & white blesbok & zebras running past. Thanks again!

Stage 1:

Short and fast are the two best words to describe Stage 1. The first section of the trail is downhill before you reach the dirt road and climb your way back into the town. Racing the local kids on the edge of town was the best part along with the scenic, adrenaline pumping straightaway to the finish line. Don’t forget to look up and catch a glimpse of the always beautiful FS sunsets!
